There is no doubt about it, each day in Uganda our team members are faced with children who have very challenging circumstances. Sickness, disability, malnourished, no shelter, barely clothed. 

Many of these stories you've seen in our weekly emails, and you've helped make an incredible difference!

It can be easy to feel overwhelmed and helpless.  In the remote villages where we work in Uganda, CLP is usually the only organization providing help to the most needy.

Mwase, Shamilu, and Mbwali were absolutely overcome with excitement and gratitude!  This is the difference you make! 

 Through our Bridge to Success projects with our partner Donorsee, we posted a project to help get new clothes and hygiene supplies for the children. 

Janet’s mother suffers from mental illness and struggles to care for her.  Janet only went to primary school for a few years. Some relatives took her in when a community member saw how neglected she was. Unfortunately, the relatives made her work long days digging in the gardens in the hot sun and with little food.

Nothing makes me more excited than sharing with you the success of the children you've helped send to school! 

As children in the US have started a new school year over the past few weeks, our students in Uganda have just finished their second term, and their reports are in, and they are all doing well- thanks to you!
