We partner with communities in rural Uganda to support youth and women facing poverty, hunger, violence and early marriage.
Our Programs
Our programs promote financial independence and long-term security through vocational training, health education and economic opportunity.
-
Vocational Training
Skills-based training for girls at our center, preparing them for safe, sustainable livelihoods and long-term independence.
-

Reproductive Health Education
Education that empowers girls and women with knowledge to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
-

Economic Empowerment
Business training and small loans that help women start and grow income-generating ventures for their families.
-

Food Security
Sustainable agriculture and kitchen garden initiatives that help families grow food, improve nutrition, and reduce hunger long-term.
-

Connecting Cultures
We partner with classrooms in Uganda and the United States to connect students across cultures. Through shared stories, conversations and creative projects, young people learn from one another and grow as global citizens committed to positive change.
-

Youth Mentorship
We support the Gorilla Hoops Basketball Academy, founded by Joseph Ssozi, which uses basketball to mentor young people and develop leadership skills. Through teamwork, discipline and play, youth build confidence and a sense of belonging.
