Smiles for Miles!

Mwase, Shamilu, and Mbwali were absolutely overcome with excitement and gratitude!  This is the difference you make! 

Through our Bridge to Success projects with our partner Donorsee, we posted a project to help get new clothes and hygiene supplies for the children. 

Their single mom has been struggling to provide basic necessities for them. Their one set of clothes was in tatters. They had no shoes, socks, or undergarments, and no soap or lotion to care for their skin. 

Without shoes, the children were susceptible to getting parasites in their feet.

Before and After

Well, you, our wonderful donors, came through! When their project was funded, Hilda and Aminsi took the children to the market so they could buy their new clothes. This also became a money lesson!  But really, for the kids, it was like all of the holidays all in one day

Bringing the children shopping was a joy for Hilda too! When you see people in such need every day, it's wonderful when you can give them something that improves their lives.

Mwase, Shamilu, and Mbwali now have pants, shirts, undergarments, and hygiene items. Their skin is healthy and protected. I think you can see the joy in their faces, and now they can hold their heads high with dignity.  

Each day we see so much need, but each day we also get to see the generosity and humanity from you, our wonderful community of donors.
