We Keep Going!

Kuluthum was thrilled to return to school this year! Without you, she would not have the opportunity for an education!

What makes you optimistic? I know that can be a tough question these days.

Thanks to all of you, we see progress. Sometimes it's slow, and sometimes there are setbacks. However, the success we see keeps us focused on the programs that are breaking the generational cycle of poverty.

So, here's the good that you make possible!

Our students at our Girls' Vocational Center are now learning how to make school uniforms. Uniforms are a requirement at all schools in Uganda, and having this skill gives the girls a better chance for employment. We are hoping that in the future we can take on some contracts for making school uniforms for some of the smaller schools.

This week, our team is putting together another 40 period supply kits that will be delivered to the girls in the Busuyi community. We have already delivered 80 kits thanks to the women who attended Glowcon and this is a continuation of that project!

Precious, Janet, and Shamim, whom you are helping get an education!

Progress reports for the first term of the school year show that our sponsored students are doing well! This is no small thing considering all the challenges they face on a daily basis!

I hope seeing what you make possible fills you with optimism!

Thank you for investing in the future of the children! We are honored that we get to see the humanity of others!

With Gratitude,

Mary

P.S.-  If you are enjoying our Impact Updates, feel free to forward them to a friend and maybe it will help them feel optimistic!
