Her Future Starts Now!

This year, we've helped more children than ever before, and that's because of you.

Girls like Rose and Jane wouldn't have these smiles, safety, or the chance at a better future without your generosity.

They're part of our Girls' Vocational Center, learning tailoring and business skills that are opening real doors. Through our Women's Craft Cooperative, they sell their creations, greet customers, and learn to manage money.

They love going into town to be in the store. Each visit builds their confidence and independence. Without this program, without you, Rose and Jane would have had no other options.

The other day, I was playing with my granddaughter and thought: I would do anything to keep her safe and help her learn.

The girls we serve in Uganda are no different. They're just like our daughters, granddaughters, nieces, neighbors, and sisters. Each one just wants what we all want for the young women we love: safety, education, and the chance to build a future.

And thanks to you, that's exactly what they're getting.

CLP isn't funded by large corporations or government grants. We're powered by people, by you.

Did you know that over 80% of all charitable giving in the U.S. comes from individuals, not multimillionaire donors or big companies?  Individuals donated 319.04 billion dollars to charity in 2024!

That's exactly how CLP thrives: through the compassion and commitment of this community. Together, we're lifting children out of poverty and helping girls reclaim their futures.

Whether you gave once, give monthly, or have been with us since the beginning, you are part of this story.

Together, we've created something powerful: a community that believes in practical hope. A place where opportunity, safety, and dignity grow hand in hand.

But there's more to do, and we can only do it together.

In January, a new class of girls will arrive at the center, eager to begin training. To open the doors for them, we need to raise $12,000 by December 31; enough to fund 30 more girls for an entire year of training in tailoring and hairdressing.

Every gift, every share, every conversation keeps the doors open for girls like Rose and Jane, and the 30 new students waiting to begin in January.

It costs just $400 to sponsor one girl for a full year of training, and every gift, whatever the size, matters.

$25 buys supplies, $50 keeps the classroom running, $400 transforms a life.

Together, we can open the doors for the next class before the school year begins!

With Gratitude,

Mary
